she was born in the '20's, I think.
kinda Bradbury meets Tolkien. neat stuff.

I just started readin' her stuff last week. gone through 4 books so far.
we only have #2 & 3 of Earthsea, so I'm waiting till I can find the 1st one.

have you ever read orson scott card? he's one of my other favorite authors. and another one who writes good fantasy and sci fi.

one of the cool things with Drizzt is that in the first BG game, you can kill him if you want to (though it's really, really, really hard to do and drops your reputation a lot if you succeed), and get his scimitars.
